My name is Irina Maris. I’ve graduated the Faculty of Letters, History and Jounalism from Sibiu  in 1999, worked as a teacher of English and specialized in English Language (and Literature) within the next 4 years. Since 2003 I have been living in London, thus improving the standard of my English immensely.

            I’ve registered as a translator with the Romanian Embassy in London (Consular Section-344 Kensington High Street), based on my Translator Certificate issued by the Romanian Department of Justice. I am therefore authorized by the Embassy to perform translations.

           I have translated : marriage certificates, diplomas, birth certificates, CVs, invoices, contracts, recommendations and other such type of documents. I can also participate as an interpreter in court or insurance number or any other circumstance. I have also been working in the film industry helping with the accent for a film where some of the characters and scenes where Romanian. I also can offer tuition to any level for both native speakers or for people who just want to learn/improve their English.
